To setup your Outlook to handle your new POP3 e-mail account, please follow the instruction below

Go to Tools, and then to Email Accounts.

Click View/Change exsisting email accounts and click next.

Click Change.

Enter Your Name in the display name field. This name will appear in the From field of the outgoing message.
Type your name as it would you like to appear. Enter your e-mail address in the E-mail address field. For example sales@yourdomain.com

Fill out the Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server and Outgoing mail (SMTP) server field with your domain name. If you domain name is xyz.com then fill in xyz.com for both fields.

Enter your Internet Mail Logon information. Enter your full e-mail address in the POP account name field and enter your password in the Password field.

Click Test Accout Settings. If Microsoft Outlook successfully sent a Test Message you're all done!

If not, here are the most common problems (you will need to go back to Tools, Email Accounts, Change Account to get to the Email Accounts Properties Box)

1. The User Name field does not have the FULL email address entered.

2. The Log on using Secure Password Authenication (SPA) is checked. It needs to be unchecked.

3. SMTP error. This can be fixed by going to the Email Accounts Properties Box on the lower left corner click on more settings. Click on Outgoing Server Tab - The first box needs to be unchecked. Click on the Advanced tab and make sure all boxes are unchecked. If you needed to make any changes click OK and Test the account settings again. If you still get an SMTP message go back to the More Settings box and over to the Advanced tab and toggle the Outgoing server (SMTP) from 25 to 26 or from 26 to 25. Click ok and test your account settings.
